The pound climbed against its major rivals in pre-European deals on Monday. The pound rose to 1.3607 against the dollar and 151.39 versus the yen, from its early lows of 1.3551 and 150.48, respectively. The pound reversed from its previous lows of 0.8797 against the euro and 1.3014 against the franc, edging up to 0.8779 and 1.3075, respectively. The next possible resistance for the pound is seen around 154.00 against the yen, 1.33 against the franc, 0.86 against the euro and 1.38 against the greenback.
