The Japanese yen weakened against other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The yen fell to nearly a 2-year low of 134.12 against the euro and a 15-month low of 151.59 against the pound, from yesterday's closing quotes of 133.31 and 150.56, respectively.
Against the U.S. dollar and the Swiss franc, the yen dropped to near 2-month lows of 111.87 and 116.42 from yesterday's closing quotes of 111.57 and 115.97, respectively.
If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 135.00 against the euro, 153.00 against the pound, 113.00 against the greenback and 118.00 against the franc.
