Following the release of Canada inflation for August and retail sales for July at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie dropped against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 91.15 against the yen, 1.2297 against the greenback, 1.4712 against the euro and 0.9795 against the aussie around 8:31 am ET.
