Austria's production index climbed notably in July from a year ago, data from Statistics Austria showed Monday.
The production index that combines output of both industry and construction, climbed 5.7 percent year-on-year in July.
Industrial output logged an annual growth of 5.9 percent and construction output by 5.1 percent in July.
On a monthly basis, the production index increased 0.7 percent in July.
