Consumer sentiment data from France is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Switzerland's UBS consumption indicator data for August is due. The index stood at 1.38 in July.

In the meantime, unemployment figures from Norway and consumer confidence from Finland are due.

At 2.45 am ET, France's statistical office Insee releases consumer sentiment data. The confidence index is forecast to remain unchanged at 103 in September.

At 3.00 am ET, the National Institute of Economic Research is set to release Sweden's economic tendency survey data. The economic tendency index is seen rising to 111.3 in September from 110.7 in August.

Also, Hungary's unemployment data for August is due. The jobless rate is forecast to fall to 4.1 percent from 4.2 percent in July.

At 3.30 am ET, Sweden's foreign trade data is due for August. The deficit totaled SEK 0.5 billion in July.

At 4.00 am ET, the European Central Bank is slated to release euro area money supply for August. M3 is expected to grow 4.6 percent year-on-year after rising 4.5 percent in July.

In the meantime, Italy's business and consumer confidence survey data is due.

At 6.00 am ET, the Confederation of British Industry publishes Distributive Trades survey results.

At 7.00 am ET, the Czech National Bank announces its interest rate decision. The bank is widely expected to keep its key rate at 0.25 percent.
