The British pound weakened against other major currencies in the Asian session on Friday.
The pound fell to a 3-day low of 150.38 against the yen, from an early high of 151.28.
Against the euro and the Swiss franc, the pound dropped to 4-day lows of 0.8823 and 1.2976 from early highs of 0.8763 and 1.3042, respectively.
The pound edged down to 1.3364 against the U.S. dollar, from an early high of 1.3443.
If the pound extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 147.00 against the yen, 0.89 against the euro, 1.27 against the franc and 1.31 against the greenback.
