At 2:00 am ET Friday, Destatis is set to publish German final inflation and wholesale price index for September. The inflation is seen rising 0.1 percent on month, unchanged from the preliminary reading.
Ahead of these data, the euro held steady against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1845 against the greenback, 132.82 against the yen, 0.8920 against the pound and 1.1550 against the franc as of 1:55 am ET.
