At 2.00 am ET Friday, Destatis has released Germany's import prices for September. After the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro rose against the franc and the yen, it changed little against the pound and the greenback.
The euro was worth 1.1642 against the greenback, 132.88 against the yen, 1.1625 against the franc and 0.8863 against the pound around 2:01 am ET.
