South Korea's unemployment rate decreased slightly in October, figures from Statistics Korea showed Wednesday.
The seasonally adjusted jobless rate edged down to 3.6 percent in October from 3.7 percent in September.
In the corresponding month last year, the unemployment rate was 3.8 percent.
On an unadjusted basis, the jobless rate dropped to 3.2 percent in October from 3.4 percent in the previous month.
The number of unemployed people declined to 896,000 in October from 935,000 in the preceding month.
