Unemployment data from the UK is due on Wednesday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Norway's foreign trade for October is due. The surplus totaled NOK 9.2 billion in September.

At 2.45 am ET, the statistical office Insee is set to release France's final consumer prices for October. Inflation is seen at 1.1 percent in October, in line with flash estimate.

At 3.55 am ET, Iceland's central bank is set to announce the decision of the monetary policy committee meeting.

At 4.30 am ET, the Office for National Statistics is slated to issue UK unemployment data. The ILO jobless rate is seen unchanged at 4.3 percent in three months to September.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat releases euro area unemployment figures for September. The trade surplus is forecast to drop to EUR 21 billion from EUR 21.6 billion in August.
