Australia will on Friday release October numbers for new motor vehicle sales, setting the pace for a light day in Asia-Pacific economic activity. In September, new motor vehicle sales were down 0.5 percent on month and 0.8 percent on year.
Malaysia will provide Q3 numbers for gross domestic product and current account. GDP is expected to add 1.1 percent on quarter and 5.85 percent on year after rising 1.3 percent on quarter and 5.8 percent on year in Q2. The current account surplus in the Q2 was 9.6 million ringgit.
