Bank loans to the Argentinean private sector grew 4.2% in September from a month before, said the country's central bank. Peso-denominated credit lines increased 4.6%, while foreign currency loans were up 2.9%.
Compared to September 2016, total financing grew 49.4% (20.5% when adjusted for inflation).
Argentina's central bank reported that mortgage loans for families continued to gain dynamism in recent months, with an increase of 36.8% excluding inflation between June and September, and of almost 90% compared to September 2016.
