The Argentinean economy grew by 3.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year, according to the Monthly Economic Activity Estimator (EMAE).

Despite recording a slowdown compared to the 4.3% growth in August and decelerating to the slowest pace since June, the Argentinean economy accumulates seven consecutive months on the rise.

The segments that contributed the most to the rise were manufacturing wholesale, retail and repair construction. Meanwhile, activity was lower in the mining, quarrying, and electricity, gas and water distribution sectors.

The Argentinean economy recorded a 0.1% monthly rise in September, a slowdown compared to the 0.3% posted in the previous month.
