Spain's retail sales declined in October, figures from the statistical office INE showed Tuesday.
Retail sales dropped by calendar-adjusted 0.1 percent year-on-year in October, reversing a 1.6 percent increase a month ago.
On an unadjusted basis, retail sales slid 1.2 percent in contrast to a 2.2 percent rise in the previous month.
Month-on-month, retail sales declined 1.1 percent after gaining 0.1 percent in September. Food sales decreased 2.8 percent and non-food sales slid 2.4 percent in October.
