Malaysia's producer price inflation eased for the third straight month October, figures from the Department of Statistics showed Thursday.
The producer price index for local production climbed 4.7 percent year-over-year in October, slower than the 6.0 percent rise in September.
The price index for mining sector grew the most by 19.6 percent annually in October, followed by agriculture, forestry and fishing sector with 4.3 percent increase.
On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.6 percent from September, when it rose by 1.1 percent.
