Purchasing Managers' survey data from the UK is due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Finland releases quarterly GDP data for the third quarter. The economy had expanded 0.4 percent sequentially in the second quarter. In the meantime, Turkey's manufacturing PMI is due.

At 3.00 am ET, GDP figures from the Czech Republic and final trade data from Hungary are due. Also, PMI reports are due from Poland, Hungary and Norway.

At 3.15 am ET, IHS Markit releases Spain's manufacturing PMI for November. The index is forecast to rise to 56.5 from 55.8 in October.

At 3.30 am ET, manufacturing PMI figures are due from Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

Thereafter, final PMI figures are due from France and Germany, at 3.50 am ET and 3.55 am ET, respectively.

At 4.00 am ET, Eurozone final PMI data is due. The index score is forecast to match the flash estimate of 60.0 in November.

In the meantime, Italy's Istat releases final GDP data. The statistical office is expected to confirm 0.5 percent sequential growth for the third quarter.

Half an hour later, IHS Markt publishes UK PMI data. Economists forecast the index to rise to 56.5 in November from 56.3 in October.
