Following the release of Canada GDP data for September and jobs data for November at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie advanced against its major rivals. The loonie was trading at 1.2803 against the greenback, 87.87 against the yen, 0.9701 against the aussie and 1.5208 against the euro around 8:32 am ET.
