At 5.00 am ET Monday, Eurostat releases producer prices for October. Economists forecast euro area producer price inflation to ease to 2.6 percent from 2.9 percent in September. Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major rivals. The euro was worth 1.1859 against the greenback, 133.84 against the yen, 1.1656 against the franc and 0.8830 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
