Slovakia's foreign trade surplus decreased in October from a year ago, as imports grew faster than exports, data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic showed Friday.
The trade surplus shrank to EUR 505.0 million in October from EUR 531.5 million in the corresponding month last year. In September, the surplus was EUR 479 million.
Both exports and imports advanced by 8.5 percent and 9.7 percent, respectively in October from last year.
