The Labor Department will publish producer price index or PPI for November at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback dropped against the pound, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 1.1766 against the euro, 113.49 against the yen, 0.9919 against the franc and 1.3356 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
