Following the release of IHS Markit's German flash manufacturing and service PMI figures for December at 3:30 am ET Thursday, the euro rose further against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 0.8810 against the pound, 1.1675 against the franc, 1.1834 against the greenback and 133.44 against the yen around 3:34 am ET.
