Following the release of Canada GDP data for October at 8:30 am ET Friday, the loonie dropped against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 88.73 against the yen, 1.5143 against the euro, 0.9856 against the aussie and 1.2773 against the greenback around 8:33 am ET.
