At 2:00 am ET Friday, German statistical office Destatis is expected to release its wholesale prices report for January. Wholesale prices rose by 1.8 percent year-on-year in December.
Ahead of the data, the euro fell against its major rivals.
As of 1:55 am ET, the euro was trading at 0.8872 against the pound, 1.1525 against the franc, 1.2536 against the U.S. dollar and 132.57 against the yen.
