At 8:30 am ET Tuesday, Canada wholesale sales for December are due. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major rivals. While the loonie dropped against the greenback, it held steady against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.5548 against the euro, 85.03 against the yen, 1.2601 against the greenback and 0.9937 against the aussie as of 8:25 am ET.
