At 4.30 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK unemployment data.
After the data, the pound dropped further against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 1.3936 against the greenback, 149.89 against the yen, 1.3072 against the franc and 0.8839 against the euro around 4:33 am ET.
