The Commerce Department's durable goods orders for January has been issued at 8.30 am ET Tuesday.
After the data, the greenback changed little against its major rivals.
The greenback was trading at 1.3937 against the pound, 107.10 against the yen, 0.9386 against the franc and 1.2294 against the euro around 8:31 am ET.
