Following the release of Canada jobs data for February at 8.30 am ET Friday, the loonie advanced against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.5788 against the euro, 83.24 against the yen, 1.0028 against the aussie and 1.2838 against the greenback around 8:34 am ET.
