New Zealand will on Wednesday see March results for the activity outlook and business confidence indexes from ANZ Bank, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.

In February, the activity outlook had a score of 20.4, while the business confidence index came in at -19.0.

The central bank in Thailand will wrap up its monetary policy meeting and then announce its decision on interest rates. The bank is widely expected to keep its benchmark lending rate unchanged at 1.50 percent.

South Korea will see Q4 numbers for gross domestic product; in the previous three months, GDP was up 1.56 percent on quarter and 3.8 percent on year.
