Colombia's unemployment rate in February dropped to 10.8%, after recording 11.8% in January when it reached the highest level since January 2016, said the country's statistics office.
The participation rate in February was 63.3%, from 64.0% a year before. The employment rate was at 56.5% in January, down from 57.3% in the same month of 2017.
Meanwhile, the national unemployment rate in the quarter between December 2017 and February 2018 was 10.4%, with a participation rate of 63.6% and an employment rate of 57.0%.
