South Africa's producer price inflation eased for the second straight month in February, figures from Statistics South Africa showed Thursday.
Producer price inflation slowed to a 6-month low of 4.2 percent in February from 5.1 percent in January.
The overall PPI Inflation was mainly driven by a 4.2 percent rise in prices of coke, petroleum, chemical, rubber and plastic products.
On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased 0.3 percent in February.
