Statistics Canada has released Canada GDP data for January at 8:30 am ET Thursday.
After the data, the loonie dropped against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.5902 against the euro, 82.42 against the yen, 1.2919 against the greenback and 0.9917 against the aussie around 8:32 am ET.
