New Zealand's net migration declined in March from a year earlier, figures from Statistics New Zealand showed Tuesday.
In the year to March 31, the country recorded a net migration of 67,984, down from 71,932 in the same period of 2017.
Migrant arrivals numbered 130,800 in March and migrant departures totaled 62,900.
"More non-New Zealand citizens are leaving, but there are just as many migrants arriving as a year ago," population insights senior manager, Brooke Theyers, said.
