Aerolineas Argentinas plans to eliminate the business class in domestic flights, said Mario Dell'Acqua, the company's chairman, at a joint press conference along with Transport Minister Guillermo Dietrich and Mauricio Macri's Chief-of-Staff Marcos Pera.
With the move, the state-owned air company aims at saving US$ 73 million by 2020 and expand the supply of seats, according to the Telam official news agency. According to Dell'Acqua, the business class was poorly marketed.
