Austria's production index expanded in February from a year ago, data from Statistics Austria showed Wednesday.
The production index that combines output of both industry and construction, advanced 5.1 percent year-over-year in February.
Industrial output grew 4.6 percent over the year and construction output rose by 7.6 percent.
On a monthly basis, the production index registered an increase of 0.3 percent in February.
