German import price index for March has been released at 2:00 am ET Friday. After the data, the euro edged up against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 1.2109 against the greenback, 132.32 against the yen, 1.1981 against the franc and 0.8693 against the pound around 2:03 am ET.
