Economists surveyed by the Brazilian central bank pared their forecasts for the country's economic growth in 2018 for the eighth week in a row, to 1.55% from 1.76% a week before.
For 2019, GDP growth projections were decreased for the third consecutive week, to 2.60% from 2.70%.
Projections for Brazil's debt-to-GDP ratio remained stable at 55.00% in 2018 and rose to 58.00% in 2019. Projections for the Brazilian industrial output growth in 2018 and 2019 remained at 3.50% and 3.20%, respectively.
