The pound advanced against its most major counterparts in pre-European deals on Tuesday.
The pound recovered to 145.68 against the yen and 1.3114 against the franc, from its early lows of 145.24 and 1.3093, respectively.
The pound reversed from an early near a 2-week low of 0.8820 against the euro, rising to 0.8811.
If the pound rises further, it may find resistance around 147.00 against the yen, 1.33 against the franc and 0.87 against the euro.
