At 8:30 am ET Friday, Canada GDP data for April and industrial product price index for May have been released. After these data, the loonie recovered from its early lows against its major rivals.
The loonie was trading at 1.5412 against the euro, 83.67 against the yen, 0.9772 against the aussie and 1.3232 against the greenback around 8:31 am ET.
