The manufacturing sector in Vietnam continued to expand in June, and at an accelerated rate, the latest survey from Nikkei revealed on Monday with a manufacturing PMI score of 55.7.
That's up from 53.9 in May, and it moves further above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion of contraction.
Individually, there was a record rise in staffing levels amid strong growth of output and new orders.
Higher output requirements also led to a marked increase in purchasing, while inflationary pressures intensified.
