Spain's producer prices climbed at the fastest pace in more than a year in June, the statistical office INE reported Wednesday.
Producer prices climbed 4.1 percent year-on-year in June, following a 3 percent rise in May. This was the fastest increase since May, when prices advanced 5.3 percent.
Excluding energy, producer prices increased 1.2 percent, faster than May's 1 percent rise.
Producer prices for energy logged an annual growth of 12.1 percent. Prices of intermediate goods and capital goods rose 3.3 percent and 0.8 percent, respectively.
Month-on-month, producer price inflation eased to 1 percent from 1.3 percent in May.
