Singapore's private sector continued to expand in July, albeit at a slower pace, the latest survey from Nikkei showed on Friday with a PMI score of 53.0.
That's down from 56.0, although it remains above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separates expansion from contraction.
Individually, there were slower rises in both output and new orders.
Exports sales fell for the first time in almost a year and a half, while cost inflation decelerated noticeably.
