At 8.30 am ET Friday, U.S. jobs data for July and trade data for June have been released. After these data, the greenback dropped against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 111.50 against the yen, 0.9940 against the franc, 1.1599 against the euro and 1.3028 against the pound around 8:33 am ET.
