Statistics Canada has released Canadian trade data for June at 8:30 am ET Friday. After the data, the loonie rose slightly against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 85.82 against the yen, 1.2993 against the greenback, 1.5075 against the euro and 0.9615 against the aussie around 8:31 am ET.
