At 8:30 am ET Wednesday, Statistics Canada has released Canada retail sales for June.
After the data, the loonie recovered from its early lows against its major counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 84.73 against the yen, 0.9578 against the aussie, 1.5122 against the euro and 1.3017 against the greenback around 8:33 am ET.
