Singapore's producer price inflation accelerated further in July, figures from the Department of Statistics showed Wednesday.
The manufactured product price index climbed 10.9 percent year-over-year in July, well above the 7.8 percent increase in the previous month. This was the fourth successive monthly rise.
The domestic supply price index rose notably by 13.7 percent annually in July and it increased 1.2 percent from a month ago.
On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.7 percent from June, when it fell by 0.5 percent.
Data also revealed that import prices grew 10.2 percent yearly in July, faster than the 9.1 percent rise in the preceding month.
Export prices increased 7.2 percent annually and by 0.6 percent monthly in July.
