At 4.30 am ET Thursday, the Bank of England has released mortgage approvals for July.
Following the data, the pound changed little against its major rivals.
The pound was trading at 145.09 against the yen, 1.3000 against the greenback, 0.8984 against the euro and 1.2611 against the franc around 4:35 am ET.
