Consumer confidence is New Zealand ebbed in August, the latest survey from ANZ Bank revealed on Friday - slipping 0.7 percent to a score of 117.6.
That follows the1.3 percent slide in July to 118.4.
The index score remains above 100, however, indicating that optimists continue to outnumber pessimists.
