Statistics Canada has released Canada jobs data for August at 8:30 am ET Friday.
Following the data, the loonie slipped against its key counterparts.
The loonie was trading at 84.31 against the yen, 0.9398 against the aussie, 1.5264 against the euro and 1.3176 against the greenback around 8:32 am ET.
