At 8:30 am ET Tuesday, Canada manufacturing sales for July are due. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major rivals. While the loonie held steady against the yen, the aussie and the greenback, it fell back against the euro.
The loonie was worth 86.12 against the yen, 0.9374 against the aussie, 1.5232 against the euro and 1.3028 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
