Singapore will on Monday release August figures for consumer prices, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
In July, consumer prices were down 0.1 percent on month and up 0.6 percent on year.
Also, a number of regional stock markets are off on holiday on Monday, including South Korea (Chuseok Day), Taiwan and China (Mid-Autumn Festival) and Japan (Autumnal Equinox). The KOSPI in South Korea will remain closed until Thursday, while the other stock markets will return to trade on Tuesday.
